Applications consisting of the training data describing the various input variables and the target variable are known as supervised learning tasks. It is the study of making machines more human-like in their behavior and decisions by giving them the ability to learn and develop their own programs. The learning process is automated and improved based on the experiences of the machines throughout the process. The system is not told the “right answer.” The algorithm must figure out what is being shown. For example, it can identify segments of customers with similar attributes who can then be treated similarly in marketing campaigns.
